Catalina Island Casino

The Catalina Island Casino has been the focal point of Santa Catalina Island entertainment, movie theatre and culture since it opened in 1929. Dominating the Avalon landscape from its regal perch along the bay, the casino exemplifies the style and romance of Catalina Island.
 

Descanso Beach Club

This beautiful cove and beach is located just beyond the Casino. It is one of the last private beaches in California with public access. The pristine water beckons, promising the best swim of your stay. Morning hours are serene. The pace quickens as the day progresses, the restaurant and bar get busier and Descanso becomes the hottest place to be in town. Great food and beverages can be enjoyed with table service at Descanso Beach Club Restaurant, Catalina's only seaside restaurant, or delivered to your beach towel.The Club has easy access to snorkeling, kayaking, the Catalina Climbing WallCatalina Aerial Adventure and the Zip Line Eco Tour. Catalina Island Country Club

The Catalina Island Country Club is open for weddings and private events, but this wasn't always so. The facility was originally built as the clubhouse for William Wrigley’s baseball team, the Chicago Cubs. Now, after a lavish renovation, the club’s eclectic mix of Spanish Colonial design and sports memorabilia exists in elegant ambiance and is the perfect venue for any special occasion.

Harbor Sands, Two Harbors

Soft sand and swaying palms lend South Pacific charm to this beautiful oasis on the shore of Isthmus Cove, where friendly staff serves signature food and drinks from Harbor Reef Restaurant to your rustic palapa, beachside lounge chair or ocean view table.



Banning House, Two Harbors

Nestled on a hill overlooking the Isthmus Harbor and Catalina Harbor in Two Harbors, the Banning House was built in 1910 as the summer home of the Banning brothers, former owners of Catalina Island. The lodge served as the U.S. Coast Guard officers’ quarters during WWII, as a private girls’ camp in the in 1950s, as a hunting lodge, and as Two Harbors employee housing.
